Let's obliterate hunger in our community. In one day.

August 18, 2011

Join us for the third annual Feeding South Kitsap collection campaign. On August 18, 2011, our community will unite to obliterate hunger. For three hours, volunteers will canvass neighborhoods and collect food donations for the South Kitsap Helpline Food Bank.   As it was once said, “A hungry man is not a free man”. Our small actions, when joined together, created remarkable results. Hunger is a crippling force within our community. However, we were presented with a choice to stand united and alienate hunger, one child, one senior citizen, one family at a time and on August 18, we will stand together in this effort of Feeding South Kitsap.

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS

 ● Register your team online

  ● Pack your car with your friends

  ● Show up to SK Helpline on August 18 at 4:30pm

  ● Fill your trunk with the food

  ● Return to Helpline to donate the food

  ● Go out for ice cream sundaes to celebrate!
